Hey guys i have these random wires hanging down under the dash of my VR Calais was wondering if anyone knows what they could be, pics below. cheers Daniel

Some aftermarket item like a alarm or something Im guessing.

+1 for that. Just check none of them are live and if they are it might be best to find its fuse and remove it

And if you go removing the wires, after removal of each wire, just double check that the car starts and everything works.
You dont want to cut 4-5 wires and then have to guess which one it was :)

Well the black wire is obviously an earth wire. If you have a multimeter you'll probably find that one of the remaining wires has a constant 12VDC supply on it and the other has an acc 12VDC supply on it. That setup could have been used for any number of things.

could be aftermarket speaker wires too. Ive found heap of old speaker wire in cars at the wreckers,no dout the last owner put in some **** at some stage at took it out b4 turfing the car

Did have VS Berlina now have VT Berlina
if your car used to be on gas thats what it would be as i have the same kind of wires in mine but mine go to a switch and fuse for the gas
