when i reach about 60km/h hold the clutch in i can still hear the sound . any thoughts on what to check i was think eaither low diff oil or rear wheel bearings. how would i test to see what it is?

Only picked up the car the other day.......didn't you notice this whine before you got it ?

might be a limited slip or std look for FM tag or sticker

whine at that speed of 5 km on is usually diff ... diff takes two liters .....a drain bolt and a filler hole
it may be wise to take off the cover if no oil or very black

rear wheel bearings rumble more .... try one thing at a time

Diff fluid was milky brown, plus the bearings in the diff are screwed, now i gotta try and find a 3.46 lsd diff for $300 or less

Milky brown oil....mmmm.
Might be wrong but that sounds like it may have been under water.
