Recently the low end bearing in my Ecotec has started knocking.
Need to buy a new engine and get it installed.
I'm based on the Central Coast, NSW.
Can anybody recommend a good mechanic where i can get an ecotec supplied and installed fairly cheap?
And what sort of price range do you think i'd be looking at?
Been looking all over the place but can't find anything.

Thanks guys,
Appreciate the help.

Try a wrecker. $1000-1200 is a pretty decent drive in price.

Otherwise you could always source an engine for about $400, rent an engine hoist for the weekend for about $100, see if you can whack it in with a few mates.

yeah this is a very good option but you must make sure you do it properly, make sure that everything you take out you put back in the same order you took it out.
