(1) Remove the inlet manifold,remove the plenum chamber,remove the rocker arms and pushrods
(make sure you keep the rockers ,their bolts and pushrods in the order of which cylinder they came from.).
Remove the valve lifters,remove the timing cover from the front of the engine,remove the timing chain.
(2) Remove the balance shaft gear and key from the camshaft.
(3)Using a T30 torx socket,remove the thrust washer screws and withdraw the camshaft thrust washer.
(4)Carefully withdraw the camshaft from the engine ensuring that the camshaft lobes do not damage the camshaft bearings as the camshaft is removed.
To refit-
Remove all traces of sealant from the threads of the camshaft thrust washer retaining screws and the cylinder block.
Lubricate the camshaft bearing journals with clean engine oil and the camshaft lobes with lubrizol 6612 lubricant.
Carefully install the camshaft into the engine ,ensuring that the lobes do not scrape across and damage the the camshaft bearings.
Ensure that the camshaft rotates freely.
Apply clean engine oil to the camshaft and thrust washer contact surfaces and install the thrust washer.
Apply permatex lock nut or equivalant sealant to the thrust washer retaining screws and tighten to the specified torque.
Install the key and balance shaft gear to the camshaft,ensuring that the marks on the balance shaft gears are aligned.
Install the remaining components.

Well worth the $50.Try not to get the haynes or max ellery manuals,the gregorys is much better,or even better again,a genuine factory manual,but they cost heaps more.Hope this helps.Cheers.
