Removing pcm from VE SS

Hi i want to know how to get the computer out of my ve ss?
is it on passanger side still and how do i get it out?

Why do you want to take it out? You know you need it for the car to go broom broom don't you?

If you're getting a mail order tune, the new one will have instructions with it.

yeah im getting a mail order tune from oztrack and ive got to send mine
to get tuned,
so do u know where it is and how to get it out?

**** that!!! Tell them to send you a new one like every other mail order tune I know of... Then you send them your stock one back.

Or better yet, get your mail order tune from somewhere else.

Or ideally, jump in your car, drive to a local tuner and get it done properly

or the guy doesnt have spare ones for ve's
do u just not know where the pcm is?

ahh i dont think i would just send to some random!

its steve at oztrack tuning and my mate got his done by hime same way mail order and guess what? oh he got it back and his tune is really good.

i didnt ask for ur opinion on what u think about me taking the pcm out and sending it to someone i wanted to know how to get it out.

Dont need to know anymore as not doing it yet so all good

Mate go to a tuner! Mail order tunes aren't great.

If you've got the money to throw at an exhaust, cai and cam, why scrimp on arguably the most important part - a good tune!?!?

Head over to LS1.com.au for almost unlimited amounts of info regarding modifications... If you can't find or get an answer about your car there, then you won't get an answer anywhere.

the ECM is under the fusebox in the RHF corner of the engine bay.
they dont control the transmission so its technically an ECM.
