Replace Antenna - advice please

remove the screws from the sill trim and you can move it just enough to
get a screw driver down to get the lower kick panel trim.
As for the aerial, you dont need to remove the kick panel and disconnect the
aerial lead, after you remove the inner guard, earth lead and mounting bolt,
remove the side side repeater, unclip aerial plug off aerial so you can route
aerial mast through the hole where the side repeater was,this means you dont need to pull aerial all the way out the guard, so you dont need to disconnect aerial lead. fit lead from battery negative to aerial bracket as earth and replug in aerial plug. then you can turn on/off radio and feed in new aerial mast.

i reinstalled a new antenna into my vy ute..took max of 15 mins!, just go up through wheel arch! heres a lil tip, intep of re-threading a new areial lead to the bak of the stereo headunit, cut it off under the wheel arch n again on the new antenna, purchase 2 coaxial joiner clamps n put one on da car n one on da new arial, n simply clip them together. good for if you haev to replace it again aswell!
