right im quitting smoking, whos with me?

So how's everybody going with the quitting smoking thing?? I'd really like to know - especially the positive stories, because:

I haven't had a smoke for 20 days (and counting) now! :w00t:

This is about my 4th attempt to give up, and I'm really determined this time. I am using patches - they just make it so much more tolerable.

Contrary to what most people say, I physically don't feel any different - no coughing up flem, no enhanced smell/taste. I feel mentally great though - oh and financially too!!

I'd encourage any other smokers on here to do the same, you won't regret it... :thumbsup:

well although its not smoking related its healthy related, i started healthy eating...im trying to get a bit fitter n all will be madness in a couple of months, already lost a couple of kilos and its been a couple of weeks so im happy...

Nice one Todd. I plan on doing the same thing next (one step at a time).
I've got a couple of extra kilos that need losing, so I can try to get back to my fit days!

everytime you go to light up, think of all the **** that is engulfing your lungs, thousands of toxins and irreversable damage.
carbon monoxide, chemicals etc etc....

smoking is just as bad as sucking your own exhaust pipe, it would be alot cheaper and almost the same as smoking.


you know what they say, quitting is hard, not quitting is harder.
