2001 vx commodore executive
Hey guys, I’ve got a mate who just bought a series 2 2001 vx commodore executive and I’m the mechanic mate, couple questions regarding the roadworthy.

The line written by the workshop is “lower control arm bushes worn, front castor arm bushes (both subframe and control arm side)

Im more familiar with falcons so the suspension setup and names for everything is a little confusing. If anyone could enlighten me or provide some links it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Control arm bushes.
This guy has some of the sickest Commodores in Australia. Loves his V6’s. Does crazy things.

Didn't think they would be needed for roadworthy, but the vids above will help you out. The Castor Bush are the easiest to change. Get the Urethane ones over the rubber. My nolathane ones have lasted 18 years.
