Can the IQ screen and the dash display be changed from red to blue on my ss? I seen a .sv6 with blue and I'm wondering if it's an aftermarket mod or can holden do it with a software tweak?

Thanks in advance

Holden can do it, they tell the IQ what car it's in and what trim level. It's red for sports and blue for everything else.

Bonner can tell you for sure

I would think that if you had the IQ system youd be able to get them to do it. But if the screen isnt a coloured screen and is the same as the dash screen you will have to change the LED's to do this. On the models before the IQ that have a coloured screen they can be changed from red to blue.

Hope this helps

I did this on a Series I,
(I changed the Cluster to a HSV model, added HSV Triple Gauges, changed the Cluster and Gauges to white LEDs, and I also programmed the Headunit to Red, but later changed to blue)..

For series I models (And I am sure for the IQ Stuff as well), there are a couple of settings for the screen colour, as well as the startup screen.
(Holden, Caprice, Chevrolet, Vauxhall, etc).

I am trying to find a cheap IQ unit to play with (So far no success), and I am hoping to dump data from one of these units to try and find out what can and cant be done.
