Just wondering if it's worth anything over and above what an unsigned one is worth.

I was told one is Craig Lowndes, the other another V8 driver, maybe someone can confirm?

There's are bloke trying to sell a signed one locally. His is new and he is asking $270. It's been listed for months and hasn't sold.

Yours is an LS2 one so might hold more value in that regard. But having signatures I don't think increases its value. Although flip yours over and it may not be as pretty as a new one, which may drag down the value.

It only increases in value when a famous person kicks the bucket....

You also have to remove the cover so it doesn't deteriorate any further

I think it would also depend on who signed it. Had it been Broc it may hold more value. Had it been on a Broc car well that would add more value again.

When Mobil introduced their 0- 40 in NZ they commemorated it with 1000 posters of Brock and Murphy with a VR Commodore. The first 25 were signed by Brock and I was lucky enough to get one of those. Value who knows, I don't care. I'm not getting rid of it any time soon.

It's an HSV engine cover, more value than a standard Holden version.

Some famous people's signature are worth more when they have passed on than others....

So comparing Mr Brock to Mr Lowndes...Yes Brockies signature would probably be worth more than Lowndes when he passes on....

As for the other signature, who's is it? If they're a relatively unknown driver, compared to Lowndes, passing on, Lowndes signature would be worth more...

FWIW...I do have Russel Ingalls signature on a cap (ie hat type cap) and also a postcard thing that he had printed up not long after he jumped ship to Stone Brothers Racing from Perkins and won the Aussie Grand race back in 2003....
