Single Legger VR or VS to Tow a Boat?

I towed our boat in my VR when it still had the single pegger, only had a problem if there was algae on the ramp, but I was gentle on the throttle.

Now tow it with my manual VS V6 ute, with LSD, never been an issue. Just be gentle with it.

I was thinking I might have problems on the boat ramp, so thought I would look for a V8 which all have LSD diffs.

Sorry to disappoint you Dave, but LSD diffs were optional on VS V8s (and I suspect on VRs as well).

LSD diffs were optional on fairly much all models.

At low tide,on a slippery/algae covered ramp you WILL struggle with a single pegger no question.

I've towed our boat 2 tonne plus, with old mans turbo diesel Mondeo. You will be fine.
