yeh itd be prime season for the panel beaters. i cant believe theres soo many stupid people goin drivin in thos conditions. the only part of my car thatd hit that sorta road would be the rear tyres.

I know, eh? But I can't blame them, it must be scary as all hell knowing full well that you're going to crunch into the car infront of you, and not being able to do diddly squat about it At least that second bloke had the right idea, hop out the passenger side and use your body as a snow plough :yeah:

I'm so glad we don't get such badly iced up roads down in aus ^^

And ya gotta feel sorry for the cops who attend scenes like that... think of all the paperwork they'd have to do

There's not really anything you CAN do, except stay off the roads if you suspect ice. By the time you get there, it's usually too late

futile I know, but I would've thrown the car in reverse and held the redline in hope of finding ANY traction, or at least creating enough friction to scrape/melt off some of that ice and find a patch of road.
