So i heard a awful rumor about chev badges and the V8 supercars today

What does it matter? The object is to show case our style of V8 racing, and using a car that they can buy, it is all about selling cars people, that's the business..... Anyone that gets into it will possibly do there home work and find out that the car is using an Australian designed platform that is also used on a few other cars that they can buy ie the Camaro. So it is actually using Chev publicity to gain respect for the cars history, which if they actually fully look at they would find that the commodore was once an Opel from Germany, so any thoughts of shock horror, could in fact be turned on its head and it could be said that we have no actual heritage, until the VE.......

Yeah no problem with this personally, its being sold as a Chev in the States and its smart business to advertise a product that will be sold there. Then again the road going Commodore and the SuperTaxi Commodore have nothing in common.
