I was at my local Holden yard the other day talking to a bloke in service...asked him about the Silverado...F__k all change out of $130k he reckons.. GTSR money and a bit more..know what I'd rather.

You can’t bully your way ‘round the streets & block others anywhere NEAR as effectively with a GTSR.

I saw this coming back in 2014 in the HSV Forum, there is definitely a niche market filled with ready buyers.
Beats me how a company can get exemption from various ADR approval to modify a Light Vehicle so far beyond factory spec and offer it for (re)sale nationally?
Sure $100k over the original price goes a long way to cover specific engineering exemptions, but just like the deaths and disasters fitting an LS into a Hilux over the years, the thing was crap before now is clearly a speedy death trap.

the writings on the wall for these companies, no more new commodore customers wanting work mods done on there new cars
there bread butter work is drying up
so now they turn to the 4x4 market for work,

Id still rather a VF V8 ute. If i was wanting a 4WD i would buy a wagon over a ute any day. 130k i reckon I could buy a Trailhawk for that. Ute for me is a work bus. If i bought one of those id be too scared it would get scratched that i wouldn't use it for what its designed to be.
