Spray painting worn steering wheel TIPS ?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has spray painted their steering wheel and what is the best way of going about it. I read some threads about having the local paint shop mix up cerulean paint can for the interior but given its the steering wheel could I expect some decent results ?

I've put satan black 2 pack on a couple of ek eh steering wheels that didn't last that well to be honest. 2 Years later they didn't look that flash.
Isn't a commodore wheel padded I've tried injecting them with super glue b4 that didn't turn out to well either. I don't think any paint will last on the steering wheel if you drive the car often.
