Has anyone swapped over complete suspension on a VE without using compressors. I searched for this and I found some info on the vt/vu which some people say yes and some say no. In my situation the new suspension is out of an R8 and the coils are still on the struts locked into place, so I'm assuming a straight swap over would be fine. But anyone out there with personal experience?

Don't need spring compressors unless your just swapping the springs.

Thanks Vongy I will take your word on that. Would anyone like me to make a short video how to do it? I will try one side and get it right them film the other side for anyone else wanting to know how to remove and install new suspension on a VE

No worries mate. It'll be easier if there's 2 people doing it though, strut's weren't that easy to get out.

Front struts took 30 minutes on mine, rear struts+springs took about 3 hours, was an absolute nightmare. Def need two people.
