SRS Airbag fault

Yesterday I got a flat battery, I had my car jump started by one of the blokes from racv. Ever since then the SRS airbag warning flashes and beeps when I start my car and the warning light stays on. Im assuming i just need to reset something, just wondering how i go about doing that. Ive got an sv6 if that makes a difference.

May have lost communication with airbag module due to low voltage.

Best bet is to get the codes read to confirm. While the airbag error is up your airbags are inoperative which isnt good in the event of an accident.

Same thing happened to me. Im taking it to a automech this saturday. Tell you how it goes

sure you didnt remove/unplug the seat connection for power seats.. this happening when the car ignition on will flash SRS as a fault

Power seat connector wont, side airbag connector will.

This sounds weird but the automech had a look and says that water got into my seltbelt plug therefore setting off the 'srs airbag fault' so he dried it out reset the srs fault and it fine now. Hope this helps

I have had the same issue. battery went flat. SRS alarm on start-up. After doing a little research brought a copy of SRS diagnostic software from Envyouscustoms. Very easy to use and was enable to read the fault codes and remove them. SRS alarm fixed. the other alternative was to go to Holden and pay thru the nose. this was no an option as I live in remote WA. Would strongly recommend this software.
