Ok to try and clear some things up for you Velj using pictures.
With V6 and V8 brakes, you have the rotors (Different), The Callipers (Same), Brake Pads (Same), Carriers (Brackets / Different), Brake Lines (Same).
V8 Rotors are larger than V6 Rotors, so to fit, you need to use the V8 Carriers, which will sit the caliper out a little further to fit the rotor.
This is a V8 brake carrier, fitted, and here are the mounting bolts for the carrier.
Here is the Carrier removed, and the next two images are the caliper fitted to the carrier.
To be honest, its going to be very hard to locate someone willing to sell just the carriers, as V8 owners will sell these along with their calipers when they upgrade to the Brembo/AP Racing brakes.
You will probably see kits like this on eBay, which may or may not include rotors and pads. (Depending on their condition)
You will also probably want to read up on whats involved with changing rotors, pads, and the carriers. Information on this can be found here,
