Ok ive done a search to no real answer.
Planetary gears in my Centre have gone and pretty sure it has damaged crown wheel and pinion ect.
So taking the oportunity to change my gearing to 3.7 (its a manual) can I simply buy a suitable hsv centre and do a complete change for the ss one? Ie is it just a straight bolt in and away I go?
Are there any other advantages to the hsv centre other then the gearing?
Cheers chris

I guess no-one has done it that way. Most people buy a complete centre & swap it over like that.
But the time you do gears, bearings, seals & labour it would probably cheaper to just swap the entire centre.

Ring a diff/gearbox place . Pretty sure they would know.

HSV diffs (whole assembly) will bolt straight up to a SS. You COULD take out the gears and use your housing, but what for?

just buy the whole diff and be done with it. I have a hsv diff in my calais, straight and easy swap.
