ok guys my 94 vr commodore starts and dies straightaway when car is warm and then cranks for 4-5secs to start again and runs just fine.
any clue guys? thanks in advance.
Oil pressure sensor I'd reckon it usually won't let the fuel pump run without oil pressure maybe check wiring and or functionality of sensor I believe u can bypass it to check it
Try priming the fuel line by turning the key on and off a couple of times first and see if it makes a difference. If it does, it may be the pressure regulator. Could be a blocked fuel filter too.

yeah mate i think you are right. i did that even before i read ur comment. after priming it starts and feels like about to stall and settles down. i realised it started since i changed my fuel rail with a old one from a wrecker. i think the regulator is stuffed. just wanted to make sure. thanks mate.
