Hey,
According to VS Commodore / Calais / Ute Specs A stock ecotec v6 has 147KW, thats nearly 200HP, that cant be right can it?

Remember this is at the engine, not the wheels, take into consideration wear n tear over time, and most being auto's u lose a fair bit in the drivetrain.. then u have worn wheel bearings, diffs, old injectors.. and every bit subtracks kw's

How much is lost between wheels and engine, from memory it as like 20% or somethin?

manual box is approx 5%

Then you need to subtract waterpump, alternator, idler pulleys, aircon compressor losses etc.
