Super6 alternator

Alternator has **** itself on my super6 vt is there anyway to repair it?
I have 2 n/a v6 alternators there can the casings be changed or modified to suit?
Short on cash

you only need to replace the regulator new they are $30~$40

Are they interchangeable from ecotec alternator onto a/c alternator? As I have two ecotec ones in my shed.

The regulator on the ecotec alternator will hit on the fuel rails the l67 alternator regulator sits in a different place but the housings can be swapped over to make an ecotec alternator into an l67 alternator
