Is it really worth buying a supercharged VS Calais over a non supercharged. Supercharged car costs about $2,500 more.

Is there really that much more power output ? What about decreased fuel economy ? Any other additional running costs over a non supercharged VS Calais (eg oil, filters, etc)?

Thanks.

now thats being foolish..... more power obviously, more potential, no difference on fuel on the highway really.....$2,500 is pretty good price difference

Arent all the VS Calais' supercharged?
If you're comparing a VS Calais to a standard VS you also have all the benefits of the Calais luxury..
But I would definitely spend the extra if i had the money
No not all VS calais are L67's infact you will find that they are a rare breed :)
As for which way to go, well thats really up to you , MNLBD, i owned a NA (L36) for close to 10 years and bought the VS Calais L67 last year and kicked myself for not buying one earlier! the L67 motor is very punchy and near on bullet proof. But like NAF33N stated alot more to insure but if u find a good VS L67 you will be very happy with it...:)
