press the Auto it starts at your feet but it seems to stay there??

heat rises, so when you turn it to heat, it directs it to the floor to evenly warm the cab, its not a ve specific thing, all other brands do the same

Nice dig.
The sports mode being talked about is to hold the shift points longer, changing up later on in the gear, higher up the rev range... To do this just don't change until your rpm is higher...
