Is it a technical issue or revenue strategy? Because if Tapatalk doesn't cater for sponsors then how about we fricken well sponsor it ourselves? Donations promoted as code of practice, turn all the Q&A problem solving / money saving stuff into an online tip jar for JC Community. Or properly two-tiered guest / member access level to more valuable stuff for donators only within a certain period.
This approach would work with TapaTalk, potentially better money model than suffering some of the crappy sponsor speak we put up with!
Also why not instead get chapters to hold mini events (banners, stand, microphone) of some structure and substance for branded sponsors, more beneficial than splash banners, spam posts and cherry picking / hijacking integrity of threads for pecuniary gain.
I mean carpark meets are a bit clandestine and not ideally suited to the demographic of all enthusiastic JC members, perhaps more meet and greet combined with subject specific show and tell. Not hard?
