The farmer takes the goat over first, comes back and gets the dog, takes the dog over and brings the goat back, he then leaves the goat and takes the hay over and then comes back and gets the goat.

Wouldn't you take the Goat first, leaving the dog and hay... then ... wen u get to the island ... do the same thing as what you had done before you moved anything (put a fence up or watever was up previously to keep the 3 things from eating each other).

It wud save all the hassle from going forwards and backwards a million times....

obviously he kills the dog and goat, uses a mincer to shred them, then he cooks and eats them both, then he only worries about the hay, which is easy enough to sort out right?

No, you need to let the goat eat the hay to fatten it up a bit first
