2 patients in the operating room. vn motors out of lowagz v1.0, and is going into sisters car while we rebuild hers, just needs some basic bits before it goes in.

sump, timing cover, oil filter housing taken off, will rip some more apart next week, since ive got some time off.

bits in the cleaning tub, ignore the holley, it was on the motor i rebuilding, gotta sell it sometime.

good heads stripped bar valves and springs, dads dropping it off to the head guy this week, so he can start playing with it. gonna start ripping old motor apart this week, see what parts are better between the 2. might start sanding spare bonnet and front guards for paint too

nice catch, first time its been off the engine stand since i got it, now itll sit in the wheelbarrow til i cbf doing anything with it.

lol you just have to learn as you do it like most of us do, get one of the VS manuals for backup and just make sure you remember which part goes where as you take it out.

Only way to learn.

so, ive got the week off, which means i can play with bits n pieces on the bmw.

today, i pulled some more bits off the motor, and stripped the last of the sound deadener from behind/under the back seat and under the parcel shelf. not gonna bother mopping up the left overs bar a quick vacuum, its all hidden under stuff anyway.
