This looks like its going to be a bit of fun :D
Shame about the brembos (or lack there of) though.
This just going to be a streeter or is there going to be a little track work included?

ok in the interest of getting a few WTF's, ive decided to name this car "lois"

the reason? well not that i need a reason, but as i was washing it this after noon, the family-guy episode where peter talks about thursdays being his internet porn day he comes out with the quote

"oh yeah, youre my chinese lois"

so as i was rubbing parts of the car sexually, i was repeating:

"oh yeah, youre my japanese lois"

also lois is pretty hot in some weird way. here is the full quote:

"Patriot Games"
Season: 4 Episode: 20
Peter: "Besides, Sunday's my Internet Porn Night."
[cut to Peter sitting naked at an Internet café]
Peter: "Ohhhhhh, yeah, you're my Chinese Lois."

p.s. that episode is one of the funniest of the family guy lineup. its where stewie beats brian mercilessly for owing him money on a bet. get into it.

I have to agree, Lois does have it goin on. Plus, the earlier episodes were the best. The fart battle with Peter and Michael Moore is one of my fav scenes, it was the first episode I watched and pretty much made me a fan from then onwards

How are all your coolant hoses looking? Just asking because I had a heater hose let go on me the other day and am having to get them brought out from japan through nissan. Apparently they are the only 4 hoses that no one does an aftermarket replacement for.

havnt really looked. nothing has caught my attention, and i mustve spent 4 or so hours with a toothbrush scrubbing the engine bay, so i reckon i wouldve noticed if something was amiss.

to be honest, i wouldnt use aftermarket anyway. OEM parts for these are surprisingly cheap and available locally for the most part cos' of the 110 units nissan brought in in 90-92.

Yeah it cost me $300 for the 4 heater hoses as they were a special order that the dealer had to bring in from japan. I'll probably replace all the other hoses at the same time but with silicone as I can't really justify the price to get all the others through Nissan.

Probably helps that yours was sold out here at some point.

few things on order:

exhaust manifold gaskets
turbo exhaust gaskets
turbo intake gaskets
4x6" front speakers
6.5" rear speakers, both to replace OEM, not interesting in going "bigger and better" got the plainest looking ones i could find.
OEM ECU, turns out the one fitted is tuned by MINES and i have no idea what mods its for. plugging in the reader and im running quite lean on both o2's so hopefully exhaust seal and oem ecu should bring it back into line.

still waiting on the bushing for my shifter. its wobbly as all hell at the moment and drives me nuts, hope im not damaging it by driving.

then once ive done that, i need to strip down the entire front suspension and find whatever it is that isnt allowing me to go full lock left, and she'll be a mint car once again :D
