Ah... the fault i pointed out is an issue vBullentin ... NOT a user issue...
being i work in web development, how i love when people/sites try to blame the end user..

Well guess this one falls on deaf ears..

Perhaps admin need to realise that even a forum needs to be maintained not just moderated...
And your stating that the user did NOT press submit without even running a trial/test of the steps
they were required to perform... nice assumption .....

The amount of people who 'have done a course' and then think they're bill gates never ceases to amaze me.

Admin DO maintain the forum, Darren spends ALOT of his personal time making sure everything is running smoothly And 99% of the time, it is)

I posted a thread roughly at the same time the op did. Mine showed up first time. As did the other 20 or so items i moderated that day.
It has happened often, people write out a whole thread, close the window thinking they've hit submit, and then have a cry when their thread doesn't show up. I've done it a few times with replies in threads (although i take extra care to make sure i submit when doing a whole thread).

Dont be so quick to lay blame when you dont even know the whole circumstances of the situation.

You wont get banned for having an opinion, only if you start to attack members/admin

I'm gonna guess that something is going wrong with the forums as im also getting timeout errors and SQL database errors
also linking back to the other post i put up about missing pages selector...

This section is here to report bugs... Do they get fixed though?

ive not had any of the problems you've been having. you need to make a new thread in this section about it though, not just string it onto an existing thread thats got nothing to do with it.

if you wish to be banned, just let me know, id be happy to oblige.


edit: also, i'll kindly ask you to remove your mayhem development link from your signature. unless you are a sponsor, advertising on jc isnt allowed.

i dont see all signatures, but when i do see signatures advertising a business that isnt a sponsor, i remove the link or ask the user to remove it.
