Ticking noise when the aircon/heating unit is switched on

Hi everyone,

Just curious if anybody who owns a vy calais (or similar) has experienced a ticking noise when the aircon/heating unit is switched on.

I have tried to cover the sound with some music but you can still hear the noise very subtlety.

Is it a tick or squeak? My old VT had a squeak that drove me mad.

Its not just the plastic vents expanding due to the heat passing through them is it,next time it does it try placing a finger on them too see if it stops or changes the noise,could be it!!!!!!!!!

Probably a leaf or something similar in the vent flapping in the breeze.. Mine is currently doing this but I cbf fixing it atm

Crawl under the passenger side dash.....I'll bet a piece of paper or something is caught in the fan motor.
I had a leaf caught in mine....the ticking drove me mad for a while.
