Just recently I've noticed the power steering is tighter than usual.
4,000 ks ago the system was flushed and new fluid used.

Fluid is at the correct level and theirs no fluid leaks.

Wondering what most likely would be the cause.

Thanks guys, a pump rebuild is the go or an easier fix would be another used pump.
Is any other year Commodore steering pump the same as the VX.
We only plan to keep the car another 6 months before having it crushed.

Cheaper to get one from a Wreckers, and probably will last another 20 years.

Why crush it, sell it to the wreckers and get some $ back,
Surly there are some recyclable parts that could be available/used for other VX owners.
