The tub pics as promised.
Replace the torx bolts holding the top trims with high tensile longer ones. I used these tiedown eyelets from hardware shop.

I have also considered adding them to the points where it bolts in and cutting slots in the tub liner, but I’m not as keen to have holes in the liner like that.
Going to add load rails in instead like @Jolls did.

On the hard lid (which you are getting)

The eyelet in the left corner. All four corners have them. Also have the nutserts and M5 cap head bolts instead of the manky screws on the stainless brace for the lid .

I am definitely going to be adding some metal to the tray for added strength, and have been thinking along the same lines for mounting the hard lid. The metal for the front wall of my tray has actually torn in the upper corners under the plastic rail caps. Seems like Holden was a little too concerned with keeping the weight down.

The hard lid bracket mount is pretty big. It firms up the tray fine. All going well, you get the mounting bracket with the hardlid when it comes.

DOD? Just say no!

Seriously, love this build and look forward to the next update.

Before this, never knew an L92 existed.

This is a ballsey move. Doing the rotating assembly yourself! Fantastic to see someone have a go. I’d not be confident enough to do that so hat off to you.

Great to see Michigan Motorsport helping out.

Thanks! I'm a bit concerned about the rings but I guess I won't find out how well I did till she runs. Hopefully I can get a little more support from other vendors during the build.
