I've just replaced my engine mounts today on my VU ute and was surprised how quick it was done after reading a great write up here.

I am going to replace the manual transmission mount tomorrow also and wanted to know if anyone can suggest where would be best to place the trolley jack under the tranny to allow the mount to be removed easily?

Cheers

Stick a block of wood under the tranny oil pan and position the jack under the wood. The idea of the wood is to spread the load so as to not dent the transmission oil pan. Most of the weight is on the engine mounts.

Cheers mate, was actually a lot easier than the engine mounts that's for sure! All done..
