Well its been awhile been bloody hot too but slowly getting things under way again on the sl/e bogged and sanded abit more in the engine bay and primed the bog areas now i have to putty up the smaller holes prime the bay top coat and clear it

Undercoated the bay today just a few touch ups to go now, then on with the colour

well rust proof the inner firewall, kickpanels & some of the floor and the final touch ups in the bay no more screwing around with putty and crap colour will be going on tomorrow as soon as i finish rubbing back the last lot of the putty

Well colour went on today pretty happy with the outcome also rust proofed the inner guards now time to lightly rub back the colour then on with the clear

well the clear went on today may give it 1 more coat then she will be finished then the fun job of putting it back together yay

Cant say im a fan of that shade of green but she's coming along well good job.

awesome write up man,i just picked up a vc sle aswell just the other day,everything execpt motor and few other little bits,got it for nothing interior is pretty immac.

Well other than the underside of the bonnet the painting in the engine bay is complete thank #$%^ for that

The underside of the subframe rails have been rust proofed k-frame has been painted and running gear put back in

Only need to sort the wiring out now, throw the starter motor, alternator, fan, radiator and a few other bits and pieces and relocate the battery to the boot and then that will be that problem out of the way
