if it's a tempory setup i think you'll get away with a wet gauge.

I was thinking about this today and thought to myself well it's not been running right for a while and then I thougth ok so whats changed since it was running right (manifold excluded since that wont do this radical stuff). pretty much just the regulator? and if it's leaning out once you start driving it that would give you exactly these symptoms. So I think this is the area to investigate. Regulator/pump

Car is fixed
totally collapsed cat convertor. Chunks fell out when i unbolted it

your tune works great jason! Will try run it down the strip soon :)

Havin not driven a car thats even remotely quick for a year its hard to tell.
There is no falling off though, it just wants to keep revving. The heads would help as well, but yer i think its the business. The tuned length runners must do somethign also, as when it hits 5000rpm, it kicks just that bit harder and i have trouble shifting before 6000rpm into second. :)
13's for sure. How deep? i dunno, hopefully very hehe

good to hear it's sorted mate. with it running rich the way it was, that could have stuffed the CAT, they don't like lots of raw fuel going through em. can't wait to see some 1/4mile times and maybe a video of this weapon in action:p

I thought the second kick would have come in a bit earlier than 5000 :p oh well better than never :), I'm doing a tune for a guy that's run 13.8 in a manual VN exec with the same cam with fuel ratios all over the place on the memcal that came with it. I reckon he will be up for a mid 13 once it's sorted. So they do allright even if the engine sims don't give that cam much credit it must do something

yeah i took it for another drive last night and the kick is a bit lower, closer to 4 than five. Was too busy enjoying it sunday to look at the revs much.
Took my mate for a drive last night, felt a bit slower, then realised my mate is 130+kg, and i'm 60kg. no wonder :p

I think the biggest difference is the way it gets out of the hole now. No mucking around, just goes. Traction is quite good considering!

I will maybe get a vids thursday or friday when i take it out again. but i need someone else to film it cos i'm too busy driving :p
