for anyone wanting to put twin thermo fans on the vn-vp v8s i wouldnt even bother with the ef-el-au thermo fans , there to big for the size core , the ford mondeo fans fit so much better and way less cutting , anyway here are some pics of the el and mondeo thermo fans side by side

mondeo fans ontop of the el fans as u can see the mondeo fans are smaller

mondeo fans bolted up to the radiator , i used a thermo fan mounting kit cost me $13 very easey to do, i trimmed the whole shroud about 5mm to get them closer to the core and a better fit

well i live on the goldcoast so it was just from a wrecker where i live , i think all mondeo's have the same thermos

with the size decrease, are you expecting any issues with preformance?

the size difference is only small , i think these will cool better becuase the whole fan is covering core , the el fans hange over the end tanks , the mondeo fans sit right up against the radiator so its sealed from sucking anywhere but through the radiator, witch is the most important thing , that how the shroud works

yep they work realy well

what year model mondeo did they come out of???

not realy sure but it was in the 90s im pritty sure there all the same right through, save one of the pics ive posted up , print it out and take it to a wrecker with u and match one up

If you say so....Be very careful, i have seen them many times rub a hole in the core. I always spend the little extra time/effort and make proper brackets.
