Lol yeah its tuff but all worth it.

That sump mod is interesting but the only time ive ever lost oil pressure was from a huge high speed brake.

Sure is :D

Every little bit helps when it comes to the oiling department with these engines. Bare in mind it will also be able to maintain higher oil pressure at lower RPM given the fact that there will be a lower pressure drop across the pickup to the pump.

Food for though I guess, as it's MUCH easier to do the job now given the engine is on a stand and all :)

bigge pickup also allows for easier ingestion of air round corners and under heavy braking and acceleration the pickup was made smaller to stop this from happening its not got that small bulb pickup for no reason its so it dont suck air.ecotec has no problems pumping 100psi cold oil pressure at idle and over 50 hot idle its plenty enough

Nice looking motor mate.
The paint actually makes it look pretty good for an ecotec.
Are you going to ceramic coat the manifolds?

Nah they're stainless. Stainless holds alot more heat than M/S so ceramic coating would be overkill. Its so damn expensive too lol.
