A few years ago I purchased a set of 4 commodore ute s mags with standard tyres 225/65R16 Bridgestone Turanza ER300.
They have been great but need replacement soon and would like to rat the crew for some advice.
The VZ wagon must have had some suspension geometry change from vy as they predominately understear. (I've owned both)

I'm not looking at breaking any land speed records. It's a wagon after all.

Thanks

ER300 should still be available, if not I have seen Conti Premium Contact 2 and 5 and Michelin Primacy rate well in European tests.

Originally a VZ wagon has 205/65R15 (648mm diameter)
If you have 225/65R16 (699mm diameter) they are too large to be legally fitted (at least in NSW)

The Berlina had 215/60R16 (652mm diameter) so they same size as stock. Bridgestone have the Turanza in that size in a 4 for the price of 3 deal at the moment..

I have the same tyres on my VZ wagon and Mazda3 and they go pretty well

Thanks for your feedback.
I have the standard rims and tyres from the Ute S on this page.

I have read that the Turanza Serenity Plus is not that flash in the wet?
Lots of round a bouts up here and rain.

You are correct. The tyres are 225/55R16
5's look like 6's when ur old.

Thanks for your feedback man.
