Cars heading into panel shop on Monday to Thursday for rear bumper and tow bar fixing after the rear ended accident couple months or so back.

Seriously hasnt been washed in such a long time the poor thing due to rain and accident.
Waiting until get car back and they wash it anyway

Took some pics at work, showing the dirt dirt and more dirt.

Also changed the oil which is well overdue
Had a oil leak also and was getting worse.

So tightened up the sump bolts and also discovered the sump plug was in essence, loose.
Think sorted that, will see.
So placing two rubber washers on sump bolt, not a good idea and didnt work.
Got some anti-seize on it and will monitor.

Pics for shits and giggles

So took my car in for panel shop on Monday

Arranged to come round this morning to look at it and they painted the rear bumper via the paint code even though i told the assessor to use custom gloss as was not as per paint code.

Spoke to the manager today and he saw the difference and fix up and pick up on Tuesday

Kinda like rubbed it in to them and said couple years back had it replaced also due to rear ended accident and done it properly and no issues regarding paint back then.

So they at fault, still using hire car below in picture.
Not a bad 2016 Corolla, basic Ascent model, great reverse camera and i make it punchy off the line.

CVT transmission and damn noisy they are when revving.

Car is back

Been washed twice by the panel shop and I did a quick polish as well.

Gotta be honest, had it for 1 day and reversed into a hand rail whilst parking and scratched the bumper and touch up pen fixed it lololol
Small scratch but still, wasnt my best reverse angle park.

New tyres needed, rear right one is delaminating and is off and using the spare and getting new rears tomorrow and also getting new fronts on the 27th.

Oil leaks definitely better also, hardly anything anymore.

And car loving the cooler weather as well

Now finally all sorted, guess have to start modding again.
Hmmmmm what to do

LOLOLOL could only laugh.
Bout 5cm long scratch all filled in now and all good.

Thinking of rear view camera but want one integrated into new stereo so thats on the cards.

Decided during my time off in Sept that gonna maybe hopefully have the front bumper resprayed as its peppered with years of stone chips and I have given up on it.
Paint is cracking and coming away in some small areas, especially low down near the foggies

Think i might get a new bumper as well and redo that lower grill on that.

Got some Turtle Wax Headlight Cleaner and Sealer
Did a decent job
Already have the full restoring kit but running out of sealer as they only gave you a small satchel wipe.

Been a while between updates, anything new happening?
How's that 2 stroke in the fuel going?

Two stroke oil back in car.

1ml per litre so about 70mls per tank or 35ml for half tank fill up

Placebo effect, i think runs smoother

Cars still fine
Was speaking to neighbor, he had bought his V8 LS2 VE ute and selling as losing license and costing too much for work as a daily.
He said was inspired by me for a V8. Awwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Should be September and getting some work done on it, maintenance work.
Might be able to upgrade the extractors and cats then
Fingers crossed.

So like 2 weeks ago or so I changed the bulb covers from green to red on the LCD screens

Thats all i did.
I like it, is something different.

Been thinking i might be able try different covers also maybe
Just normal halogen globes as not really a LED fan as most i have fail
