Hey guys, got this ******** under the tub of my vu on the drivers side no clue wtf it is, can anyone enlighten me?

Ah that explains a thing or two cos it was unhooked from the rear k frame, thanks

If the car's been lowered the rear brakes may have been locking up.
Seems the easy way to fix that rather than adjust it is to simply disconnect it.
How safe or legal that is...
