Upgrade inside high mount brake light to LED?

Thanks for that! If I changed yet another brake light globe on the VP (after replacing the holder - again), I reckon that would be 8th time I've done it. Seriously. But now I can go and waste my time on something else ... :whistling

But the led globes are quoted at 10,000 - 20,000 hours. I havent used one - but they shouldnt need changing too often!!

The LEDs only throw light forwards...not all around like a standard filament bulb. Given that the light base comes from the bottom and not from behind. You wouldn't get much light out of them.

To anyone thinking of doing this with their indicators.. have fun getting the flasher can to pulse correctly (big resistor required)

hey apparently u can get led flashers for round 25bucks
