VE Series I SS Ute
I bought a Pioneer DD for $305. It's only basic but has everything I need and sounds heaps better than the stock system. Only thing it doesn't have is G Maps but I'd rather use my GPS or if I don't want to set it up I just use my phone and listen for the directions through my HU.

i reckon i pull a S2 unit from a wreckers and get the unit coded for $100. seems alot cheaper just for a blue tooth function than buying a glitchy expensive aftermarket unit
Or just buy a bluetooth dongle. Thats what I did in the interim until I get the money together to do it right with an Alpine head unit.

Bluetooth isn't very good given the age of this system (my VFII's Bluetooth isn't very good either)

I'm not sure if it's worth doing a Series 2 conversion as this system is now dated as well...

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
The S2 IQs are the glitchy MoFos for Bluetooth as well. As the years went on, I disliked ours more and more. I did the conversion with Jason from Envyous Customs many years ago.
Those headunits are now well past their use-by date.
