VE SSV Z Series M6
Car: VE Series II SSV Z Series
Year: 9/2012
Colour: Chlorophyll
Motor: L77 6 Litre
Exhaust: Stock
Gearbox: M6
Diff : LSD
Power : 270 kw (when new)
Suspension : FE3
Interior : Leather
Rims : 20" Pentagons
Brakes : Brembo front
Bodykit : SSV
Kilometres: 59xxx
Owned Since: 22/7/17

After nearly 19 years of punting my VS around as a daily, I have bitten the bullet and upgraded.

Picked up at lunchtime yesterday. Fantastic car to drive. Smooth, quiet and rides very nice given the rim size.

Totally stock aside from the rims.

Owner's handbook indicates the car was first registered to Holden in Port Melbourne with the lock nut key still having the Vic rego recorded on it.

One other owner since then.

Interior is practically unmarked aside from the silver coating on the gear knob flaking away a little.

Drives beautifully.

Despite the exhaust being stock as far as I can gather, it still has a nice subtle growl to it.....especially when giving it the beans.

A couple of quick pics from yesterday arvo.

More pics to come if the weather holds off.

Z Series was introduced late in the VE model run prior to the introduction of VF.

The SSV Z Series replaced the SSV Redline with some extras such as electric sunroof and special Z Series mats and badging.

Looking forward to getting to know the car.

The IQ screen looks clean. I got one of the pencils that has the rubber in the top and use that instead of fingers. IQ screen doesn`t like finger nails.

That's a nice interior. Really nice.

Didn't your VS only just squeeze in that garage? surely your nose pokes out now??

Yes, you're right.

This will fit but it will be mms in it if I can get it exactly right, so at the moment the rear roller door is open coz too hard.

However, there is about 100mm more room on the other side of the garage. The only issue is that there are a work bench and cupboard in the way. Once I move these all should be sweet.

So you got it, looks great! :)

Thanks mate.

Loving it. Still pinching myself. So much car for the $$$.

The pics don't do the colour justice. They all look so blue but IRL with sunshine there are different shades of green & blue.

Only shortcoming so far is it doesn't sound like a 5 litre lol. But I will take that with all of the other benefits as alluded to by Deuce.

Good score mate
I've always liked that colour & that interior.......looks like a brand new car.
I reckon those Pentagon rims really suit it as well
