VE Handbrake Ratchet - Replacement P/N?

So basically I have a VE Commodore, my handbrake wont lock and slips down causing the handbrake just not to hold essentially.

Pulled the side off the center control to have a look, I can see that the teeth are completely stuffed where the handbrake locks into place.... Not the bit attached to the handle but where the handle locks to the center part on the cogs/teeth.....

I had a look on eBay etc, heaps of dodgy second hand crap on there without clean shots of the cog/teeth in question I'm looking to replace.

The part looks like you could just replace it (the teeth), does anyone have any info on this. Do I need a whole new assembly or can I just buy the main teeth part.

This was an issue in early VE's and the whole assembly is replaced as shown in your first pic.

Has anyone got any information on how to actually remove and replace the handbrake assembly
