VE interior trim handle problems

The passenger side grab handle in our 08 ssv has seperated on the top and now the driver side seems to be doing the same.

The leather that covers it has started peeling away behind the handle as well. I've already tried to glue it once but the glue didnt last long.

has anybody else had this problem and what did you do about it?

Nobody had the inside door trim handle come away on them?

they do, its not a cheap fix, cheaper to buy a new one.
