you can put em through a flasher can might confuse the electrics though

I would think flashing reverse lights would be distracting at night.

step 1. push in the Hazard lights button
Step 2. put the vehicle in reverse
tada!...lights flashing when in reverse!

but seriously...reversing lights do two things... they alert others that you are reversing (flashing lights might enhance that) and they also give you light so that you can see obstacles behind the car at night... if you make them flash... it's likely the funky disco effect will be hazardous...and most probably illegal too

To imitate the cop cars.
I have noticed some of the Victoria Police unmarked scum division alternate their reverse lights with their hazard lights.
Must admit I have thought of the same thing but the "Saturday Night Fever" thing could be contagious.
