Ve sv6 ute
Hi everyone,

I just changed diff gears in my VE Ute, It had 2.94s and i put 3.27s. Just wondering if anyone knows if the speedo needs to be recalibrated.
I’ve been told that the speed sensor is in the trans so im assuming it needs to be.
If it does, does anyone know anyone in Melb that can do it?

If it's an auto you will need to have it calibrated. Manual works off wheel speed sensors and doesn't need adjusting.

yea if auto as they have there own speed sensor within the gearbox for shifting ect u just have to get the diff ratio changed in the tune and it will be good again

will be fine for the manual, there is diff ratio in the tune and it estimates alot of stuff based on speed v rpm but its not going to affect them like the autos as they need it to be right
