Hey guys,

Just got off the P's last week and picked up my 2011 SS series 2!
love the thing. goes hard.. BUT as everyone knows, we all love how the car throws us back in the seat when you stick ur foot to the floor.

Shes all stock as a rock.. i think.. (ex cop car)

Im looking at doing a exhaust (not headers), OTR and tune.
Just wanted to know whats the best brands aswell as the costs to have these installed in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Also which size exhaust is better.. 2/5 inch or 3 inch.

Thanks in advance guys.

*Also expected KW gains would be appreciated.:hmmm:

Nice pick up on the SS, they're a heap of fun to drive.

As far exhausts go there are a few brands i would recommend - KPM, Difillipo, Sureflo and Pacemaker. All comes down to the $$$$ in your pocket.
Places to go to get stuff done - Chevs [carrum downs], HPF [dandenong], VCM Suite [knox] or GMMotorsport [melton]
Size wise - it all depends how much further you are going to go with mods ie. Headers/Cats, cam FI etc. I myself would go a twin 2.5" if doing catback only like you mentioned.

A lot of people rave about walkinshaw exhausts, but they are really just rebadged xforce exhausts with fancy tips. And they're pricey as well.

Yes headers are worth getting, that's were all the noise comes from and adds more power than just a catback.

~600 for the otr
~1k for a tune
~2k-2.5k for an xforce exhaust

so probably budget around about 4.5k
