Hi, my 2011 ssv lsd diff doesn't spin doubles all the time, in fact nearly spins just one more often than not. Wondering if there's anything you can do like tighten clutch packs or somthing? I changed oil to a thicker one, seemed to work for a bit but not for long

Did you use a Limited Slip Diff. specific oil ? I believe it may require same. Penrite recommend :

PRO GEAR GL-5 75W-85

Full synthetic, API GL-5, SAE 75W-85, differential and transaxle gear oil. Optimised for differentials, both hypoid and limited slip, transfer cases, manual transaxles and gearboxes in late model passenger cars, 4WD’s and light commercial vehicles that specifically require the use of an API GL-5, SAE 75W-85 viscosity gear oil. Suitable for use where MB 235.7 and ZF TE-ML 18 is specified as well as where VW TL 521 45-X (G 052 145 A1), VW TL 521 90 (G 052 190 A2/G 055 190 A2) is recommended. Applications include in Toyota, Ford, Jeep, Lexus and many others.
Key Specifications: API GL-5
Product Codes: PROGL5001, PROGL50025, PROGL5020

Good luck.

$1200 to fix, use a harrop limited slip as it cheaper than genuine.
you have busted the limited slip side of things, it will run fine, just be a single legger, may as well get a skirt to go with your new sv :)

ZF LSD clutch packs don't last very long.....

You can rebuild them, but you're better off replacing the centre with a Tru-Track, Harrop or Eaton.
