Hi,
Ive got a frustrating noise coming from my front end of my 09 ssv ute.
Was bottoming out and its standard height, realised my struts were stuffed so I replaced them, used the stock springs, positioned the struts so the w notch was facing towards the engine, tightened the control arm and everything else to the correct torque. But there is still a rattle over bumps, can hear it when I'm driving on a smooth road aswell when I move my steering wheel from left to right. There is no play in the control arm (link pins) that I can see.
I have thought I haven't put the spring back in properly or the correct orientation (might have it upside down) is there any way of telling which way it goes around on the stock springs??
My top bearings don't look like they need replacing either.?
any one else have any tips on what to check for?
Thanks in advance
